Trade-Ins are tricky. The transaction is much more difficult to negotiate because the value in question is so unclear. I always suggest selling your car separately or gifting it to a friend or family member. I promise you that if the dealership is giving you what your old car is really worth, you’re paying for it somewhere else in your new car purchase.
